GYNCA - Molecular and Environmental Epidemiology of Gynecological Cancer in Israel

The aim of this case-control study is to evaluate the causes of gynecological cancers (mainly endometrial and ovarian cancers) in the Israeli population and to study the interaction between behavioral and environmental risk factors and between a variety of genetic and molecular events (mainly CYP19, BRCA and IGF) in the causation of these diseases.
