Biography

Dr. Barnett Griness received her Ph.D. in statistics from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology in 1998 where she also received her M.Sc. in statistics in1993 and B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management in 1990. She worked in statistical consulting in the Statistics Laboratory at the Technion and as biostatistician in TEVA Pharmaceuticals Industries. Dr. Barnett has been teaching various statistical courses in the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and in the Open University. She joined the Department of Community Medicine and Epidemiology in Haifa in 2002. She is part of the Biostatistics Consultation Unit.
